The reviewer has been using this chair for about eight months now and wanted to share their experience. Overall it's a solid chair that has served them well. The mesh back is breathable and comfortable, even during hot summer months. The lumbar support is adjustable which is helpful, though they wish it had a bit more range of motion. The seat cushion has maintained its shape and support over time. They're 6'2" and around 220 lbs and the chair accommodates their size well. The armrests are sturdy and adjust to the right height for their desk. The only complaint is that the recline function feels a bit stiff even when adjusted to the loosest setting. Despite this, they'd buy the chair again and feel it offers good value for the price.

They previously had chairs with leather or thick padding that caused them to sweat and feel uncomfortable. The mesh design of the Aeron keeps them cool and comfortable even during extended sitting sessions. They consider the breathability one of the chair's most important features.
Read full review →This person has owned their Aeron for about a month and absolutely loves it. They note that it forces proper posture, which initially felt uncomfortable because they were used to sitting with bad posture. However, after two to three days of adjustment, they found the chair incredibly comfortable and are very happy with their purchase.

Read full review →The commenter strongly recommends the Steelcase Leap V2 over the Aeron, stating they prefer it significantly. They also mention they found their Leap V2 for only $100 at a university surplus sale, suggesting it's possible to find great deals on high-end ergonomic chairs if you look in the right places. They believe the Leap is the better chair overall.
Read full review →The reviewer purchased this chair three months ago and has mixed feelings. While they appreciate the breathable mesh and the overall ergonomic design, they found that the lumbar support doesn't adjust far enough forward for their body type. They are a shorter person (5'3") and feel the chair is really designed for taller individuals. The seat depth is too long for them which causes pressure on the back of their knees. They've had to use a cushion to make it more comfortable. The build quality seems decent and the chair has held up well so far, but they're disappointed it doesn't fit their body better. They wish they had tested it in person before buying.
